new case!

The new case in all of its raw glory.

New times, new journies. After working nonstop in the music industry for two decades, (10 years of which I've rarely had time off), I've been intentionally slowing it all down while working steadily toward my future goal: MORE PLANTS. Plant therapy for the win.

A few weeks ago my incredible hubby was perusing some random government auction site, and he stumbled across this glass case in incredible condition through one of the local colleges. After several bids and crossing our fingers, we got it for the deal of the century. He took the day off work, rented a truck, and went and got this thing. With the help of three other strong neighbors, it made it into our living room and has been sitting right in the middle of it all since! This thing, which is 6' wide x 6' tall, (and already wired for electric), was likely some kind of display case for trophies or something. I have in mind to create an entire ecosystem of plants as a feature against the living room wall. This goal instigated an entirely new project of renovating part of the living room, and here we are, about to start that project. Early this fall, I'm going to be beyond excited to start putting plants in here! For now, consider this the "before" photo...I'm sure this will be an evolving project and can't wait to update you as things progress.
